WRLIGHTS 2020 at a glance

Lights

The illuminated sea horses, living Christmas trees, and huge 38-foot tall holiday tree all returned to illuminate the White Rock waterfront. The magical Meadow is decorated by hundreds of lanterns made by local elementary school students and thousands of lights. New this year are the light panels, sponsored by local business, on the railway fencing.

Support

Despite COVID-19, the display was still possible with the generous support of our individual and corporate partners. This allowed the display to shine even brighter for the community to drive-by or enjoy a socially distanced stroll through the lights.

Since 2019, the White Rock Festival of Lights has transformed our beautiful White Rock beachfront during the holiday season with a magical array of lights. The annual event brings us together and celebrates our diversity by recognizing Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas, the Lunar New Year, the Indigenous community, and more.
