Where is the Display located?

The 2019 display took place on the Marine Drive Waterfront in White Rock, BC. Light displays covered the park, the pier, and the iconic White Rock Museum. White Rock Lights 2021/22 will expand to include light displays on the White Rock itself (read more about Path to P’Quals),the entire boardwalk, and around the White Rock community.

What's new this year?

This year, we’re thrilled to expand White Lights 2021/22 to begin in early December and end TBA. This will include light displays associated with the changing cultural seasons. We’re collaborating with Semiahmoo First Nation to create the Pathway to P’Quals, a light display honouring the rich history of P’Quals (the ‘White Rock’).

Is White Rock Lights child-friendly?

Absolutely! While the 2021/22 display will be less interactive due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is still plenty of fun to be had for families. Take a stroll along the Waterfront to take in the glittering displays, or grab a hot chocolate and drive along Marine Drive for a warmer, more socially distant option.

What are donated funds used for?

All financial contributions go towards the development and operations of White Rock Lights 2021/22. Funds cover everything from purchasing lights, to the setup and takedown, to permitting, insurance, security, and licensing costs.

Why should I make a donation to White Rock Lights?

Donations are the lifeblood of our not-for-profit organization. By making a contribution, you are helping to ensure we are able to continue offering the White Rock Lights display in the future.

Why do you require my address during checkout?

We collect your address as a way to verify your purchase when you pickup your hat.

Why do you only have in-person pickup?

We are working on creating other shipping options but at the moment we do not have enough resources to facilitate other options.
